Rapid Antibody Testing

The test is intended to identify persons having an immune response against COVID-19 using whole blood testing methods.

  • The Rapid Antibody Test is a quick finger prick that will give us the two drops of blood needed to administer the test.

  • The two drops are placed in a test cassette.

  • A solution is added to the blood.

  • Time: In 15 minutes we will know if you have antibodies to COVID.

Nasopharyngeal RT-PCR Testing
Cost: $125 - Results within 24 -48 hours
(Rapid Antibody + Nasopharyngeal Testing - $200)

Nasopharyngeal RT-PCR swab is inserted into the nose and used to collect viral specimens. These are infections that cause symptoms like a cough or a runny nose.

Testing specimens are collected at RJ Clinical and processed by our lab partner Cellum Biomedical Inc. No additional charges will apply.

What is Coronavirus?

A novel coronavirus is a new coronavirus that has not been previously identified. The virus causing coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), is not the same as the coronaviruses that commonly circulate among humans and cause mild illness, like the common cold.

COVID-19 Symptoms:

Current symptoms reported for patients with COVID-19 have included mild to severe respiratory illness with fever, cough, and difficulty breathing. Read about COVID-19 Symptoms.

Preventive Measures:

CDC recommends that people wear a cloth face covering to cover their nose and mouth in the community setting. This is an additional public health measure people should take to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in addition to (not instead of) social distancing, frequent hand cleaning and other everyday preventive actions.

How Does It Spread?

The virus is thought to spread mainly from person to person, through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. Spread is more likely when people are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet).

How is Testing Done?

Diagnosis may be difficult with only a physical exam because mild cases of COVID-19 may appear similar to the flu or a bad cold. A laboratory test is required and recommended for those experiencing symptoms.

If You Have COVID-19?

If you are sick with COVID-19 contact your doctor, stay at home (rest and hydrate), and avoid public transportation. See more details.
